Birth Doula Support Services
Initial Interview Session
The initial interview session is designed to be a time when we can meet and get to know each other. This will be a time for you to decide how you feel about us working together to bring about the best possible labor and birth experience. This visit is free of charge and does not carry any obligations to our services.

Prenatal Visits
Prenatal visits are designed to meet your needs and fit your schedule. During prenatal visits, we cover an overview of birth, create a birth plan, practice relaxation techniques, discuss breastfeeding and infant care, and cover any questions, fears or concerns you may have. If you wish, we can accompany you to a prenatal visit with your medical provider. Two prenatal visits are included in the fee.

Unlimited Phone Support
We are available to you 24 hours a day for phone support. Any questions or concerns you may have, prenatal or postpartum, give me a call and we can talk them through. We are also always available by email if that is easier for you. Remember everyone has questions, so don’t be shy about asking!

On Call
Once you hire us, we are on call for you until you deliver.

Labor Support
Labor support begins where and when you wish, at home or at the hospital. During labor we provide relaxation techniques, pain management, birth plan support, and help you make informed decisions through delivery.

Immediate Postpartum Care
Immediately after your birth, we will remain with you for approximately 2 hours to ensure that you and your little one are comfortable and that breastfeeding has been established. We will also make sure that all your, your baby’s, and daddy’s needs are met, including making sure you get your first postpartum meal. Once you are settled, we will leave you to bond as a new family.

Postpartum Visit
Within the first two weeks of your baby’s arrival, we make a postpartum visit to your house. We address any concerns you may have with your own postpartum care, reconstruct your birth experience, help with any breastfeeding concerns or difficulties and answer any baby care questions you may have.
